Changing a Password

After successfully logging in the first time, the user should select a new password to reduce security risks.  A study sponsor may also require the user to change their password and may not allow access to certain screens/functions in MAESTRO until the password is changed.

From the Home screen, on the right menu bar select Change Password.   See Figure 1 below.

Once the Password screen appears, enter your old password, your new password, and repeat the new password.  Click on the “Change” button to save as seen in Figure 2 below.

There are restrictions on the password reuse within the system, as password history is saved and previous passwords are not allowed to be used.
