After subject data has been entered into MAESTRO, tools may be employed that will allow for the efficient processing and management of that data.
Form flags and status icons are optional tools used by the study’s sponsor and data management team to manage data stored in MAESTRO. These color-coded icons and flags are visible from the subject landing page (see Figure 1 below) and within the CRF itself (see Figure 2 below) and may be used to indicate two things:
Flags available in MAESTRO include: query, signed, monitored, freeze, data review, reportable and locked. A trial’s sponsor chooses which flags are deployed for use in the clinical trial. A flag’s function and color coding key are described in Table 2 below: Form Flag Definitions. Additional details for flags are in the Help sections that follow.
