The configuration of coding must be done by a system administrator. It involves copying a set of files to the server, and those files dictate what is displayed and accessible to a given user.
Please have an administrator set up this capability.
In general, you identify the field(s) you want to code and define a couple of queries.
- One is a list query; this will show the item value and coded value, along with the status of the coding item. It is used when you are showing the list of items to be coded.
- The second is a query to show related data one might need to code the item, so you do not have to view multiple forms. As an example, an adverse event process may want to know of previous events prior to a procedure, as they indicate potential causes. Information from the baseline form or Medical History form might be queried to get this.
